This season of “Rupaul’s Drag Race: All Stars 2” on Logo, did not disappoint me, a long-time fan of the show, who has been religiously watching drag queens battle it out for the crown and title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar” since the show’s second season premiered.
With an all-star cast, literally, this season delivered the wildest, shadiest, and without a doubt the most entertaining season of “Drag Race” yet.
The “All Stars 2” season included fan-favorites from most of the seasons. The majority of the queens were from season five, like Alaska Thunderfuck, Detox, Coco Montrese, and Alyssa Edwards, season six’s had Adore Delano, and of course season seven’s Katya Zamolodchikova and Ginger Minj.
Although all the queen came back to win the crown and the “All Star” title, a few came back to with their own agendas, to earn a redemption. 
Season four’s, Phi Phi O’Hara, and season five’s, Roxxxy Andrews, returned to clear their names after being labeled the villains of their seasons. Phi Phi ended up playing the same mind games while Roxxxy actually tried to change and was a better person on the show.
Season two’s underdog Tatianna, came back after six years to reintroduced herself to the new fans. Her season was the first “Drag Race” season I watched, and seeing her back on screen was really cool and exciting.
RuPaul decided to change the game this time around, by making the winner of the challenge, decided which of the bottom queens would be sent home. This twist was all fun and games at the start but the game quickly got nasty when queens were sent home when they shouldn’t have.
Alaska sent home Tatianna over her season five sister, Roxxxy, and then Detox does the same and sends Alyssa home over Roxxxy. Roxxxy wasn’t doing great in the challenges but her fellow season five sisters carried her to the finale.
I was really upset with the decision of sending Tatianna and Alyssa home instead of Roxxxy. That was a really low moment in the season for both Alaska and Detox, and many fans of the show took to social media to criticize their poor decisions and to call them “snakes.”
For all of fans who don’t agree with Alaska’s “snaky” behavior, she uploaded snake inspired YouTube videos and released a special song, setting the record straight.
Alaska Thunderfuck was crowned the winner during the “All Stars Supergroup” episode that aired on Oct. 13.
It was well-deserved win, even if it was seen a mile away. Alaska won five out of the eight challenges and was the clear winner from the start.
I don’t mean that no other drag queens brought their all during the season, it is just that Alaska was killing it during every challenge.
Many of the queens “won” by being themselves, doing the things that fan know and have come to love them for.
Alyssa was hilarious throughout the whole season, always leaving me wanting more. Katya’s comedy didn’t disappoint as well, and her cuckoo fashion and personality made me fall in love with her all over again.
The runaway look were also outstanding this whole season.
From Detox slaying every runaway challenge with her high-fashion looks, to Roxxxy’s “thick and juicy” looks that left the judges speechless. Phi Phi’s cosplay looks were also amazing and let’s not forget Tatianna’s homage to T-Boz from TLC.
For me Tatianna and Alyssa Edwards were the winners of the season, even if they didn’t actually win, by ending the season with a bigger following of fans of all ages.
The challenges this season were to par with the talented all-star cast.
The “HERstory of the World” challenge and the finale challenge “Read U, Wrote U Performance” were iconic and all the queens did amazing jobs. And of course the fan-favorite challenge “The Snatch Game” was also entertaining and the all-star cast did not disappoint. 
“Drag Race” is also known for the iconic “Lip Synch for Your Life” battles, between the episodes’s bottom two queens, at the end of every episode. “Drag Race” queens have been taking part in lip synch battles for many years, before LL Cool J made it “cool.”
RuPual gave this classic battle a makeover in “All Stars 2” by having the top two queens lip synch for their legacy.
The Alyssa v. Tatianna Lip Synch for Your Legacy of Rihanna’s hit “Shut Up & Drive” from episode five, “The Revenge of the Queens,” was so intense and entertaining that both queens were declared the winners and won their spot back into the competition. The Alaska v. Phi Phi Lip Synch for Your Legacy of Cheryl Lynn’s classic “Got to be Real” from episode four, “Drag Movie Shequels,” is another memorable mention.
The season officially ended on Oct. 27 with the airing of “Reunited” the reunion tell-all special, where the queens were able to share their thoughts on the crazy season. One of queen however, Phi Phi O’Hara, refused to attend the reunion after receiving fan-hate on social media and claiming the show’s producers dislike her and purposely gave her a bad edit.
Although I do not think any constantan deserves any hate, it is just a game after all, but I do think she should own up to the things she said on the show. She had to have said those things in order for the producers to edit her that way, there is only so much you can blame on editing.
And the things she did say were negative anyways, regardless of when she said them.
