Welcome Back, Warriors! The fall semester has officially kicked off at Stan State, and the campus is buzzing with energy. The Fall 2025 journalism lab students went out to ask fellow warriors one pressing question: “What are you looking forward to in the upcoming semester?”
Jocelyn Serrato (Sociology, Junior) is excited about connecting with campus life. “In one of my classes, they were talking about how there is going to be a movie night, so I’m excited about that,” she stated.
From getting back into their classes to engaging in campus activities, students had plenty to share about.
Odelia Melkopour (Public Health Promotion, Freshman) says she’s looking forward to meeting new people and growing closer to the friends she already has as this semester starts.
Kaleb De La Cruz (English, Junior) is excited to further his skills in English class this semester.
“I’m really looking to strengthen my English writing skills and more analysis of English concepts, not just novels, but different English writing in general.”
