On April 30, Phi Kappa Phi hosted “Etiquette in the 21st century – Use It or Lose It Opportunities” featuring Leann Alemano-Johnson as the speaker of the event. Aleano-Johnson, author, educator, TV host and trainer informed audience members about graduate school and career-marketable traits.
Today, actor Dan Gately will shed light on his portrayal of Macbeth in the Shakespeare Under the Stars production. Gately will speak of the technicalities of an outdoor production.
This will take place in the Studio Theatre from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Friday, Phi Kappa Phi week will finish off with an initiation ceremony for new members. Families of the honored students are invited to be a part of this event.
“This week is honoring all of the new initiates, as well as celebrating and recognizing these students who have gone above, and truly proven excellence within their field of study,” Reeder said.
Phi Kappa Phi is the nation’s oldest and largest honor society. Many faculty members are associated with the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi.
“Being a member of this Honor Society allows you to network and meet many brilliant and unique individuals who you may not have met otherwise!” Reeder said.
