Women Remain Undefeated
Two of the conference’s top women’s soccer teams faced each other as the No. 11 Warriors faced-off with the No. 15 Sonoma State Seawolves. Both teams entered and exited the game undefeated as the two teams battled to a 2-2 draw. Katelyn Nebesnick scored the game tying goal with under a minute left to force overtime and eventually the draw. The Warriors also received a goal from Sabrina Williamson.
The Warriors win streak reached eight games after their 2-1 victory over the Humboldt State Lumberjacks. Tina Benson and Karenee Demery both scored for the Warriors as they remained undefeated on the season. Demery continues to impress as she scored her league leading seventh goal of the season.
