There is a new Ross coming to Turlock’s Geer Road, and they are looking to hire immediately. This can be a great opportunity for members of the Stan State campus community to enter or re-enter the workforce!
Working in retail is a great way to start getting work experience. With Turlock being a college town, there are many opportunities for students to work part-time and still attend school full-time. Store manager, Martha, from the Ross on Countryside Drive stated, “We advise anybody to apply. If they are students, we try our best to work with their school schedules.”
This may also be very helpful for many people who are struggling to find employment due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This will not be the first Ross that opens up in Turlock. There is another store located in the Countryside Drive shopping center near In-N-Out and Safeway.
This new Ross will be located in the same shopping center as Save Mart on Geer Road and may be a perfect fit for the area due to the fact that there are not many clothing stores nearby. Nearby stores like “Yonan’s Floral & Decor” and “Yonan’s Boutique” were told by the construction company that Ross is planned to open up around June or July of 2021.
