According to the University Police Department’s (UPD) crime log, the police department responded to 18 incidents for the week of Oct. 15th to 19th.
Monday: A Hit-and-Run, an Off-Campus Arrest and Rowdy Activity 
Last Monday, at 11:29 am, a student came in to the UPD office to report a non-jury hit-and-run, but changed his mind and left. No report was taken.
Off campus, at 12:34 pm, a subject was arrested, cited and released on a Turlock Police Department (TPD) warrant.
At 7:30 pm, UPD received a call of a man yelling in classroom 241 in Bizzini Hall. An officer arrived on scene and found a class was in session, role playing. The officer notified them that they were causing a disturbance, and the class agreed to quiet down.
 Tuesday: The Off-Campus Arrests Continue
Off campus last Tuesday, at 1:50 pm, another warrant arrest was made by UPD and was booked at Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
A subject was also arrested at 7:27 pm and released on TPD warrants off campus. Also, at 1:04 pm a subject was arrested and released on TPD warrants.
At 12:00 pm, athletics staff met with a man in his 20s, who was playing basketball on the main court and using athletics equipment. He was rude to the first staff that contacted him and apologized to the second staff member then left without incident.
Wednesday: A Sleeping Man, a Warrant Check, Bicycle Activity and a Medical Emergency 
In parking lot #6, at 3:34 pm last Wednesday, a man was found taking a nap in his car after visiting his girlfriend in the dorms, prior to driving home to Los Banos. He left the campus without incident.
Off campus, Sean Olson was stopped by TPD due to a warrant that was provided to them by UPD, that was later canceled.
Then, at 5:50 pm, UPD was advised of a suspicious person on a bicycle last seen on Monte Vista/Geer Road from the campus.
Two bicyclists were also warned about the California Vehicle Code infractions at University Circle at 9:05 pm. And at 9:37 am UPD recovered a stolen bike.
Later that same evening in main dining, a sick person was transported to the Emmanuel Medical Center at 11:45 pm.
Thursday: A Trapped Person, TPD Requested Assistance and a Ticket 
Yesterday at 7:58 am, a person got stuck in the Phase 1 Elevator in the Village. She was found and set free. Later on in the Village at 9:33 am, UPD responded to the area to conduct a well-being check. They reported that everything was safe.
At 1:47 pm a subject went to the UPD regarding a concern about a social media invitation. Then, at 1:49 pm, TPD requested assistance with a possible burglary in progress.
There was also a traffic stop at Crowell and Christofferson Road for a failure to stop at a red light. A ticket was issued.
