The Associated Student Inc. (ASI) Student Government at California State University, Stanislaus (Stan State) is offering students a chance to have a conversation on campus with the Turlock City Mayor Gary Soiseth on March 23.
ASI puts on One on One with Mayor Soiseth, which aims to promote and start the dialogue between Stan State and the City of Turlock.
Soiseth is looking forward to connecting with students on issues that affect them as both Stan State students and Turlock residents.
“It’s always good to be on campus talking about issues that are important to students,” Soiseth said. “This new tradition of a “one-on-one” conversation is a great way to promote this dialogue.”
Soiseth hopes the event will unite and strengthen the relationship between Stan State students and the Turlock community.
“Whether you are from Turlock or moved here to attend Stanislaus State, I want to hear from you,” Soiseth said. “Together, we can strengthen our relationship and better unite the students, faculty and staff with the greater Turlock community.”
The event will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Stan State Event Center on March 23. ASI will provide free food and giveaways for Stan State students who attend the One on One event.
