California State University, Stanislaus’ (Stan State) very own University Student Union (USU) Daily Events will be holding another exciting StanFlix movie night Thursday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. in the Carol Burke Lounge.
StanFlix movie night is free to all students. It is also a great way to relax after a hard week of studying. Daily Events Coordinator Vanessa Lopez encourages students to attend the event.
“The movie we will be showing that night is Daddy’s Home starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg,” Lopez said. “Stepdad, Brad Whitaker, is a radio host trying to get his stepchildren to love him and call him Dad. But his plans turn upside down when the biological father, Dusty Mayron, returns.”
Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg both have their fair share of humorous roles in films including “The Other Guys,” which they co-starred and comedically knocked out of the park.
USU Daily Events will be having two more movie showings following this film. They encourage students to follow them on Facebook or review their event calendar to keep informed with upcoming film showings. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions regarding StanFlix, contact USU Daily Events at [email protected].
