President Rios with the students and faculty who walked 2 miles together.
Last month President Britt Rios-Ellis invited students to join her for a walk around campus at Stanislaus State. It took place on February 27th, in the late afternoon around 4 pm.
In an email sent to students inviting them, it was described as:
“This is a fantastic opportunity to take a break, enjoy the outdoors, and connect with our president.”
President Rios-Ellis shared facts about graduation with students and discussed their ideas for Stan State. During the walk she introduced herself to the students, and asked them what their interests were. As well as their majors and how their classes were going for the semester.
In total, the students, faculty and President Rios-Ellis walked 2 miles.
If you missed last month, the President will be walking again with students on Thursday, March 20th, meeting at noon in MSR Plaza.
