CSU Stanislaus offers a variety of Stan State gear to anyone who is interested in representing the University. Hoodies, T-shirts, crewnecks and more are sold at the Campus Bookstore, located in the Student Center, and on the Stanislaus Bookstore website for online purchases. Apparel is also available for purchase during the Warrior Merch Pop-Up events at the Quad on Wednesdays.
According to the store manager, Gabrielle Archuleta, there’s more variety online since they can’t house everything in store. She also added that the pop-ups include specialty items that they don’t carry in store.

“If you don’t find something in store we always recommend going online to see if it’s on there,” she said.
For updates on future pop-ups, follow the ASI and Student Center Instagram account.
When it comes to apparel sizes, the student store has a range of XS to 3X, with prices starting at around $15.
For buyers looking for more affordable apparel options, Archuleta recommended the “bargain table.”
“Our cheaper end shirts are about $15 or around $25,” she said. “But we do have a bargain table put aside so that way you guys can see that right away.”

Deyanira Zapata (Junior, Psychology) said that she recently purchased a Stan State crewneck at the Campus Bookstore.
“Since I’m very involved in school, I wanted more Stan State clothing and I thought this one was really cute,” she said.

Although she is happy with her purchase, she mentions wanting to see some improvements.
“I wish there was a dressing room or at least a mirror so I could see myself in it,” she said. “I think this would encourage students to make better purchases.”
Styling Stan State Merch
While putting together an outfit before class, Emma Kennedy (Junior, Criminal Justice) struggles to incorporate their own style and personality to their outfit.
“I know I want to wear my Stan State shirt, but I don’t know how to make it look or feel like me,” they said.
One way to personalize Stan State gear is by accessorizing with a favorite piece of jewelry, a belt, a hat or a bag.

“I have rubber ducky earrings!” Kennedy said.
Another way to style Stan State apparel is by using the “sandwich method.” Like an actual sandwich, this technique involves two similar pieces as the “bread” with a different piece in between as the “filling.”
For example, a red Stan State shirt serves as the top bread, blue denim jeans act as the filling, and red shoes complete the look as the bottom bread. The sandwich method applies not only to color but also to textures, fabrics and proportions.
Lastly, do not be afraid of a DIY project. Use scissors to customize the apparel or get creative with other options such as tie-dye, bedazzling or adding embroidery patches.
