The Career and Internship Fair for the fall 2025 semester welcomed all Warriors to explore all the different types of companies around the area that are looking for new employees. The event took place in the Event Center on campus on Oct. 8th.

This open event was for students of all majors, but especially meant for graduate students and alumni. Warriors were able to meet with employers who have open positions for students to gain work experience in their field of interest.
This event brought the campus community together as students had the opportunity to get insight from employers on what they do, their reasoning for coming to the fair, and what type of students they are looking for.
Nicole Martinez, a Human Resources Manager for Girl Scouts Heart of Central California, shared how they are looking for students to join their team in Central California.
“We’re just hoping to get some networking done to reach out to folks that either are majoring in any kind of teaching field or early childhood education,” Martinez says.

California State Parks also had a booth at the fair, where they provided guidance on what they do and shared information about the career paths they are offering. Showcasing to students a paid internship within State Parks for spring 2026.
Jose Hernandez, Associate Governmental Program Analyst & Recruitment Analyst, expressed what they are looking for within their many open positions at California State Parks.
“We’re pretty much looking for all majors, even people who might just have their associates. There’s really no barrier to starting at California State Parks. It just depends on what you’re interested in,” Hernandez says.

Pacific Southwest Container, LLC, located in Modesto and Visalia, manufactures boxes for clients from Ghirardelli to Sony.
Anissa Torres, Human Resources Manager, explained how her company came to the fair to recruit for their Leadership Development Program.
“It’s actually a program that we’re just starting off with where we’re looking ideally for business majors for seniors, people that either have graduated or are really close to graduating,” Torres says.

For students who missed the fall 2025 career fair. Stan State holds a career fair every semester, so be on the lookout for the spring 2026 career fair.
