Halloween is just around the corner, and what better way to get into the spirit of the season than to embark on a thrilling adventure to Great America’s Halloween Haunt.
Make sure to get plenty of rest the night before because this ghoulish event will begin on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 3 p.m. and end on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 3 a.m. This is not a night you and your friends want to miss out on.
To sign up for this spooky trip, head on over to the University Student Union (USU) service desk and reserve your ticket. They will only except cash or check for the payment. Spots are limited, so don’t waste any time; grab your friends and sign up for this once a year fright-filled night.
Tickets are a mere $35, which includes transportation, parking and an evening full of terror. Enjoy exhilarating rides, multiple scare zones, terrifying mazes and a frightful feast for when your stomach starts to growl. If you want to take a break and rest your legs for a bit then immerse yourself in a ghastly show or two – but don’t be fooled. These performances won’t help you escape your doom.
There are three scare zones: The Gauntlet, Underworld Alley and Deadman’s Cove.There are also nine horror-themed rides that will get your heart racing with fear. And don’t forget about the eight walk-through mazes that will keep you on your toes with scares around every corner. Make sure you have someone to hold on to; you won’t want to walk through this deathly nightmare alone.
A brand new attraction was added this year: the Funhouse Express. It’s a clown themed thrill ride which takes you to an underground world beneath the floors of an old, run-down funhouse filled with evil clowns and trick mirrors. Be sure to locate this hot spot on your park map and check it out before it’s too late.
As the sun sets and the moon rises, prepare for a walk through your own worst nightmare.
