The Warrior softball team’s cold streak continued last week as they dropped all four games to UC San Diego.
Stanislaus faced a tough test on their trip as they faced No. 19, UC San Diego Tritons, and were shown why they are ranked that high. In the four-game series, the Tritons collected 32 runs and 41 hits while the Warriors’ struggling offense could only produce 3 runs and 13 hits.
After 10 straight road games for the Warriors, they now get to enjoy the comfort of Turlock for the next chunk of their schedule, including the Tournament of Champions this weekend. The Tournament starts Friday as the Warriors face three teams, Simon Fraser, Western Washington and Montana State Billings.
