Welcome back, Warriors. We are now almost through our third week of school and getting into the groove of new schedules, new professors and new course materials.
So on the topic of what is new, The Signal staff has some exciting changes happening that we would like to share with the campus community.
As the voice of the student body and the news source of all things CSU Stanislaus, The Signal constantly strives to carry out each task with the forethought of our readers. It is important to us that as we evolve and change, our readership is aware of what those changes are, coming from the source who is making them.
This academic year, we will be restructuring to become a biweekly paper that focuses primarily on web content.
This means more breaking news more often and a stronger presence on Facebook and Twitter.
Every other week you will still be able to pick up the print version of The Signal that you know and love.
However, the bulk of our articles will be available online at a much faster pace than our previous weekly paper allowed.
By the end of this semester, we hope to launch a completely new, redesigned website that will better accommodate this new format.
Throughout the process of change and reconstruction, The Signal promises to maintain our primary focus: We are a student-run newspaper publishing timely news in order to inform our campus community.
In the coming days keep your eyes on csusignal.com to see all of these changes as they happen, including an introduction of who our new staff is for this fall.
