As the Spring term comes to an end, students at CSU Stanislaus share some tips to get through finals.

These tips involve advice on how to pass your classes and how to make best use of your time as a student.

Kimberly Virrueta (Sophomore, Psychology) said the Spring semester has been going pretty well, and Adrianna Velez (Junior, Liberal Studies) agrees, too.

“Stay on top of everything and don’t let it accumulate over the semester,” said Virrueta.

According to Virrueta, education should be prioritized.

“Don’t be afraid to stay late in the library,” said Velez.

Ashmen Sran (Senior, Nursing) mentions that the last couple of weeks of the semester can get hectic.

“Coming to the library early helps a lot,” said Sran.

Sran emphasizes that taking breaks in between studying are much needed. It helps to work in short bursts rather than trying to complete a heavy task all in one sitting.

Isaiah Campos (Senior, Criminal Justice), Sonia Garcia  (Sophomore, Liberal Studies), and Dariana Bautista (Psychology) are some students that also have advice to share for how to pass your classes.

Campos and Garcia are both taking five classes this semester. They share that they are going well.

“Stay organized, keep up with your studies, and don’t forget any assignments to turn in on time,” said Garcia.

“I have four at the moment and I’m passing everything. So, that’s going really good,” said Bautista. He explained that he prioritizes the importance of time management, setting alarms, and marking calendars to not miss out on deadlines.

Campos reiterates the significance of making good use of your time and suggests a fundamental trick to do well, which is getting some sleep!

The Spring semester 2024 is nearing an end! So, it is vital to use these students’ advice to stay on top of your work and not miss any deadlines this semester. Most importantly, try your best! Enjoy Summer break and come back with these tips, tricks, and advice in the Fall, to ace everything with flying colors!
