Ohana Comic Con took place at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds on September 4th, 2023.
The convention was filled with dozens of vendors with a variety of products ranging from comic books to clothing. There were a couple of food vendors as well.
N.J Hanson, an author, was one of the vendors at the convention who has been selling his books at conventions for quite some time.
“I’ve been doing that since 2016, so about 7 or 8 years now,” he said.
He continued on to say that he has a of fun at these conventions and enjoys them.
The convention was costume optional, but a number of attendees dressed as their favorite characters from a variety of anime, movies, and video games.
Characters like Miguel O’Hara from Spider-Man 2099 and Ghostface could be seen roaming amongst the attendees alongside a multitude of other characters.
Israel Ortegan attended the convention dressed in character as Miguel O’Hara.
He commented on the convention saying it had good quality and consistency to it.
