For all of you food lovers and aspiring cooks, here is a meatless, satisfying recipe you should be sure to add your cook books.
I recommend this version of the well-known favorite, Eggplant Parmesan.
This dish is sure to catch the eye of vegetarians or those whom have decided to give up meat for Lent and will no doubt remind you of the classical chicken parmesan.
To begin, ensure you have gathered all of the ingredients necessary. You will need eggplants, eggs, vegetable oil, marinara sauce, bread crumbs, pasta, Parmesan cheese, white pepper and salt. You will also need fresh oregano and all-natural flour.
To begin, allow the eggplant to soak in buttermilk for about two hours. Then, dip the eggplant in the egg wash and follow with dipping it in the bread crumb-Parmesan mixture.
Continue by placing the eggplant in the oven after it’s been preheated to 400 degrees. Make the pasta of your choice and serve with your eggplants. Buon appetito!
