Over 1,100 educators and school faculty from various districts gathered in the Ed and Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena for the opening ceremony of the 2015 Educational Technology Conference on Feb. 28.
Dozens of demonstrations, both lecture and hands-on, were available to educators looking to get more out of their teaching experience.
“ETC is the Educational Technology Conference and it’s geared towards the integration of technology into education for teachers,” said Sally Savona, Division Director for Technology and Learning Resources for the Stanislaus County Office of Education.
“It’s a means to provide the professional development, the best learning practices, sharing information about using different devices, different programs, different techniques and tools, just to enhance their teaching abilities.”
