California State University, Stanislaus’ School of Nursing has been ranked 26th in the Western region by NurseJournal.org for its
“Best Nursing Schools, 2015.”
CSU Stanislaus’ School of Nursing received an overall score of 95.03, while California State University, Dominguez Hills’ School of Nursing program was at the top with a score of 112.33.
CSU Stanislaus did received a higher quality score of 27.02, while Dominguez Hills received a score of 22.12.
“We need to take a moment to congratulate colleagues who hit the proverbial home run,” President Sheley said in his update newsletter sent to the campus community.
“Thank you, Nursing colleagues. The CSU Stanislaus School of Nursing has been ranked 26th (only 9 points from first place) among 442 Nursing programs in the western United States.”
According to nursejournal.org, “a good Nursing school provides a quality education at a reasonable cost and offers educational options that make it easier for today’s busy students to attend.”
There are five different categories that help determine the rankings of each school: quality, affordability, convenience, satisfaction and value. With this, each is determined by points.
“Amid the rush and pressure of all we do in pursuit of excellence at CSU Stanislaus […] Nursing’s showing reflects how well the University is doing generally,” President Sheley said in his update.
