On Oct. 23, KCSS is hosting its second annual Trick or Beat concert at Queen Bean Coffee House in Modesto. Every Atlas, Mourning Mountains, and What Eats Hydra are the three local bands that will be playing at the event.
What Eats Hydra just opened for Secondhand Serenade and 3OH!3 at Stanfest. If you enjoyed listening to them, be sure to come show your support, enjoy some coffee and wear your favorite Halloween costume.
Angelina Moles came up with the idea for the concert last year when she was the Promotions Director for KCSS. The event proved to be success, so they have carried on the Halloween concert in order to promote local bands and bring the community together to have some Halloween fun.
The Queen Bean Coffee House is located at 1126 14th St., right down the road from the State Theatre of Modesto. They serve some of the best coffee in Modesto, so be sure to grab a cup of Joe and enjoy a spooky good show.
Arrive on time and sport your spookiest attire, as there will be a costume contest starting at 6 p.m. It is free for students to attend with your school I.D. and general admission is only $2.
