The Stan State men’s soccer team improved to 2-0 Saturday as they shut out Notre Dame de Namur University (NDNU) with a 2-0 victory.
The two goals of the game came from Daniel Kuczynski (senior, psychology) and Ryan Chaney (freshman, kinesiology).
Kuczynski played for the Warriors during the 2011-2012 season and has come back to play his final year of collegiate level soccer.
Ryan Chaney is a freshman from Kimball High School in Tracy. His goal against NDNU marks his second career goal of the year and what Head Coach Dana Taylor hopes will be the first of many in the young forward’s collegiate career.
The Warriors look to keep to momentum going against Simpson University at 7 p.m. on Tuesday the 8th. The game will be played at home.
