Department: Teacher Education (in the special education program)
Before Stan: Being a “change of life” teacher. She used to be a stay at home mother and teacher for years before deciding to switch to working with at risk students. She primarily worked with students who have learning disabilities at Elk Grove Unified Schools.
Philosophy for Teaching: “Learning is a process.” Ms. Baldwin said you must be open to new and novel ideas. When working in the classroom environment, she wants it to be a learning community, with an open and charismatic feeling.
