After Saturday’s sweep against the Slugs, the team’s current record is 1-0.
In doubles, Katie Eng (Senior, Biology) and her very intense partner Verena Preikschas (Senior, Psychology) came out on top with a final score of 8-4. Preikschas carried her power over to a singles match where she dominated her opponent, breezing through with a final score of 6-1 and 6-0. In the longest running singles match, Eng overcame her opponent ending the match with a final score of 3-6, 6-3, and 10-7.
