As students at Stan State work hard towards their end of semester finals, they’ll be able to blow off steam and enjoy the music of rap trio Travis Porter at Warrior Day 2019.
Sources close to the event, as well as the group’s agent, revealed that the Atlanta-based rappers will be headlining Stan State’s annual spring festival.
Travis Porter are a rap group consisting of members Ali, Quez and Strap from Decatur, Georgia. The trio are known for songs such as “Ayy Ladies”, “Bring it Back”, and “Make It Rain” from their debut album From Day 1, which charted at number 2 on the US Rap charts back in 2012.
This won’t be the first time the group has performed in Turlock, having headlined STAN FEST back in 2013. The trio will be on hand to perform their most popular hits that are sure to bring back memories from our junior high and high school days.
With Travis Porter set to make their return to the Stan State campus, and a handful of fun activities such as volleyball and zip lining, it should be yet another successful Warrior Day thanks to ASI (Associated Students Inc.) and all those involved with Warrior Day.
