The University Police Department (UPD) responded to several calls through the first week of December. One call officers received can be a reminder for all to lock your car, and to hide or remove personal belongings from your car.
UPD had responded to a suspicious person on December 5, 2019 at 9:16pm. They responded to reports of two subjects walking near campus on Crowell Road possibly looking into people’s vehicles.
The two reported subjects were believed to be not shaking door handles or attempting to gain entry, only walking near park vehicles. The two were gone at the scene when officers arrived and were last seen on Crowell and Monte Vista Ave.
Officers checked the area and vehicles to find no damages or no attempt of force entry.
If you or someone you know have witnessed a crime or incident at Stan State, please contact UPD at (209) 667-3114.
