During Tuesday’s virtual CSU board meeting, California State University Chancellor Timothy White revealed that nearly all instruction and activities planned for the 2020 fall semester will be held virtually.
Courses that will be taught in-person on CSU campuses include those that require hands-on instruction and involvement.
This decision comes as the state of California continues to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chancellor White described this decision as “justified” as it is necessary to keep the students, faculty, and staff safe and healthy.
There has not been an official announcement from the CSU regarding exactly how things like tuition, athletics, on-campus services, and other activities and events will be effected.
Stanislaus State has been conducting instruction and services almost completely online since March 18.
