As the Stan State women’s basketball continues their chase for a CCAA Tournament berth, they put on a convincing outing by blowing out San Francisco State by a score off 102-50. The win improves their record to 13-1 overall and 11-9 in CCAA play and keeps their tournament hopes alive.
The men’s squad provided fans with some history in a couple of ways. Senior forward Ty Davis earned seven assists in the contest to break the school assists record. Davis’ performance was a huge part in Stan State fending off a late SFSU comeback attempt as the Warriors defeated the Gators by a score of 81-79. This win secured the Warriors a spot in the CCAA tournament.
