UPD: Crime Log
Incident Involving Fire
October 30, 2018 – A small bushfire at the Student Union Construction Sie. Fire extinguished prior to UPD arrival, no injuries or structure damage.
November 1, 2018 – UPD responded to the smell of smoke, upon arrival they observed small embers. Fire and facilities were contacted and cleared.
Assault Battery
October 29, 2018 – A student reported to UPD about being slapped by another student while at a campus event.
Nonviolent Reports
October 30, 2018 – A female student was placed on a 72hour detention for evaluation and treatment. She was later transported to Doctors Medical Center by AMR community ambulance.
October 31, 2018 – Student found in study room after hours, advised “no students allowed in buildings when the building is closed.” Student understood and left.
October 31, 2018 – UPD responded to the area regarding a subject and a sword, subject located and advised to secure it in his car.
October 31, 2018 – Children found without a parent present by DBH. Mother located in P167.
November 02, 2018 – Two students found in the music building working on assignments after hours. No faculty or staff member present so students were advised “they cannot be in building after 12:00 am if not accompanied by faculty or staff. Both understood and left without incident.
