October has come around and that means one thing; Halloween. People who enjoy Halloween look forward to it because it is a time to get plenty of candy. Some people enjoy Halloween for the chance to dress up, while others tend to avoid getting dressed up or getting into the Halloween spirit.
 

Janelly Zarco (Sophomore, Liberal Studies) said, “No, I don’t really like to get dressed up anymore for Halloween. I feel that I have outgrown it in all honesty.”
 Many people leave costume shopping for a few days before Halloween because they don’t have time to go buy costumes.
 Unlike Zarco, many others enjoy dressing up for Halloween. Marlon Mejia (Junior, Biology) said, “I like dressing up for Halloween since its a day to be someone else. I am thinking that I want to be a serial killer.” Mejia said.
 Not everyone can afford to buy costumes that they are only going to wear once. Some consider making their costumes at home. People on a budget can definitely still go all out dressing up for Halloween. Halloween is rapidly approaching and people must start getting their costumes in order.
 Some quick and easy last minute costumes include:

• Animal, need some ears of that animal

• Farmer, some overalls with a flannel buttoned underneath

• Cowboy/Cowgirl, need boots, some blue jeans with a colored flannel

• Nerd, requires some glasses, shorts, knee-high socks, and some suspenders

• Runner, need some athletic pants/ tights, running shoes, and workout shirt

• Mickey Mouse, black shirt or red shirt, black pants or red pants, and yellow shoes

• Target Employee, need a red shirt, some khaki pants or black pants

• Rosie the Riveter, include a red headband, blue overalls, and red shoes

• Angel, just need to wear all white

• The Bachelor/ Bachelorette, dress in formal clothing and carry some flowers with you

 Liza Romo (Junior, Business) stated, “I usually make my costume with what I have at home since it is easier and more convenient.”
