Kaihli Miner-Hill, Photo and Video Editor

Kaihli Miner-Hill is majoring in creative media in preparation to work in the photography field. She’s interested in covering and taking photos of sports and events around campus. Some of her hobbies include reading, playing sports and spending time with family and friends.

Fernando Delgado, Lead Editor

Fernando Delgado is a senior double majoring in Political Science and Economics. After graduating, he plans on going to law school, where he plans to study law and become a corporate lawyer. What interests him about news is how informative it is and how it gives a condensed version of everything going on in the world to help people stay up to date on issues going around. His hobbies are going to concerts with his friends, opening blind boxes, and playing video games.

Sarah Jones, Webmaster

Sarah Jones is a Junior transfer student majoring in English with a concentration in TESOL and she plans to teach English abroad once she receives her degree. Sarah is excited to join the Signal and help track analytics to help the team and their readers have an easy experience. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys reading, writing, singing, and photography

Jason Andre Fuentes, Illustrator and Cartoonist

Jason Andre Fuentes is a transfer student at Stanislaus State, double majoring in Creative Media and Sociology. Beginning his Junior year with Signal, he wants to specialize in computer graphics and community outreach. What interests him about news is learning about local culture and events, like Modesto’s punk scene. Jason was inspired to pursue work in Social Media after designing posters for an LGBTQ+ club at Modesto Junior College. After graduation, he plans to be a graphic designer or web developer. For fun, Jason likes to emulate retro video games, see local bands with his friends, and code his Neocities website. His latest hobby is learning to skateboard.

Vanessa Angel, Social Media and Marketing

Vanessa Angel is a Junior at Stanislaus State. She is majoring in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Organismal, Ecological, and Evolutionary Biology. She plans to go into genetics and forensics once she graduates. Some of her hobbies are gaming, photography, cooking/baking and spending time with my family and pets.

Nate Nelson, Animator

Nate Nelson is a studio arts major. After graduating, he plans to pursue a career in animation either in the gaming or film industries and furthering his skills in different mediums. His hobbies include drawing, ceramics, playing video games and cooking/baking.
