The idea of a woman wrapping her body around a pole while balancing on five inch clear platforms was Venus Pole Fitness owner Tina Soares’ vision to helping every woman get on the path to a healthier body and mind.
Celebrating their 5th year in business, sister team Soares and Diane Flores have helped women all over Stanislaus County feel more confident and fit as well as supported by other fellow ladies.
“Everything is done in a supportive environment,” Soares said. “It is an opportunity to allow women to get out of their heads and let go and let your body move how it wants.”
According to Soares, Venus Pole Fitness was the first pole fitness dance studio in the Central Valley and has established itself as a permanent successful business inspiring women to boost their confidence while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
The sisters own two studios in both Turlock and Modesto. The Turlock location is at 116 South Center Street. Soares says they have a diverse group of members including women of all ages, sizes and fitness levels. She says the environment at Venus Pole Fitness is incredibly positive and that friendships are formed fast.
Classes are offered throughout the week and occasionally on Saturdays. During the month of February, Venus Pole Fitness of Turlock is celebrating its anniversary by offering various specials to women who are interested in being a patron with the studio.
CSU Stanislaus students who come with school ID will receive five dollars off their first class through the end of February. For more information on class times and pricing visit www.venuspole.com.
