The One Purpose Campaign concluded Oct. 9, raising a total of $516K for student scholarships over the past six weeks.
Volunteers have dedicated their time and effort, sharing the vision of investing in the future of successful students at California State University, Stanislaus.
The campaign has done more for the Turlock community than raising money for the university; it has brought those who volunteered closer to the campus as well.
“It is incredibly meaningful that many of the pledges made through One Purpose are building new relationships and new affinity with the university,” said Jacqueline Holt, Director of Annual Giving at CSU Stanislaus. “Our community is making an investment in student success that will inspire our future leaders and benefit our region.”
Of the 700 members who made pledges to the One Purpose Campaign, approximately half are new donors to CSU Stanislaus.
These donors are a representation of the local community investing in the students of the university and their futures.
One Purpose plans on awarding every penny of the funds raised to CSU Stanislaus scholarships for the coming Fall 2015 semester.
With an increase in scholarship funding, the university hopes to continue to appeal to students who excel in the academic community.
