It’s sure to be a Warrior’s world tonight at the Downtown Turlock Farmers’ Market. California State University, Stanislaus will be participating in the second annual CSU Stanislaus Night on Main Street and Broadway Avenue from 5-8 p.m.
Faculty, staff, students and supporters are encouraged to attend and represent the university by wearing Warrior red and university pins.
The evening will be serenaded by CSU Stanislaus’s very own Jazz Quintet, accompanied by Titus, the Warrior mascot. Informational booths will be set up as well as arts, crafts and giveaways.
Also happening this evening, CSU Stanislaus invites students to the opening of its newest creative workspace. The university’s new art gallery, Art Space on Main, will open with a ribbon cutting at 135 W. Main Street at 5 p.m.
The newly renovated building will help expose the work of students, local artists, university faculty and alumni as well as be the new location of the Building Imagination Center, a video arts exhibit.
The opening will feature university faculty artwork as part of the display “Art Faculty on Main.” The gallery will be open until 8 p.m.
The artistic facility opens its doors to creators and spectators alike, propelling interaction between all corners of the community.
