Stanislaus State’s ASI recently announced the return of Warrior Day, an end of the academic year festival for students. The highly anticipated return date is set for Friday, May 13.
“It should be great for us students,” said Lucas Lavezzo (junior, Business). “It is a great way for students to wind down and relax before finals.”
This year’s Warrior Day will be headlined by reality TV star turned DJ, Pauly D.
Other activities for this year’s Warrior Day include a 360 degree video photo booth, life size pong, corn hole tournament, caricature artists, inflatables and more.
Warrior Day is a traditional festival-like event that takes place around the end of every spring semester. Warrior Day is making its return to Stan State after its three year hiatus due to Covid-19, making the last in-person event be the spring of 2019 where Travis Porter was the headline performer.
“Since I was accepted to Stan State in the fall of 2019, I have not had the opportunity to to be a part of Warrior Day,” said Tatiana Gonzalez (junior, Art). “I am excited to see what activities that the event has in store for let alone seeing Jersey Shore’s Pauly D.”
It will also be Lavezzo first time attending the event.
“This will be my first Warrior Day and I am super excited,” he said. “I have heard stories of how great the event has been in the past.”
In order for students to claim tickets, head to the ASI & SC front desk in the Student Center. All students must show their student ID in order to receive a ticket.
Stan State’s ASI also announced on its Instagram that the first 100 students to attend will receive a free festival bag and the first 300 students will receive a free food voucher.
