As Greek life continues to form a major part of the campus community, it should be no surprise that organizations have regulations and curriculum to follow in order to ensure excellent conduct and safe involvement.
Greek life allows students to establish and maintain firm relationships with other Greek members. Several affiliates show their appreciation for the mandatory information workshops each semester by encouraging other members to attend.
“I think these workshops help us remain informed and allow us to show Greek unity,” Osmara Contreras (senior, Criminal Justice) said.
The first workshop that is scheduled for the Spring semester is titled, “Are You At Risk,” and will take place in South Dinning on Feb.18 at 3 p.m.
The workshop will allow attendees to adapt strategies useful during an attack or uncomfortable situation. The workshop will have two distinct sessions. The second workshop is scheduled for Feb. 22 in Bizzini Hall, room 102.
The workshops are free of cost and mandatory for Greek organizations.
