We all know Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time. “One of the best videos of all time” people. And we may, or may not, only know that because Kanye continues to say so.
Just last Sunday, Kanye made an almost repeat move at the 2015 Grammy’s. Beck, American singer-songwriter, took the stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to accept his Grammy for Album of the Year while he was followed to the stage by none other than the Yeezus singer himself. Well, Kanye didn’t actually steal the mic but he definitely stole the moment. Sound familiar?
Let’s throw it back to the 2009 Video Music Awards. Remember yet? A young Taylor Swift stepped up onto the stage to accept her moonman when the “I’mma let you finish” moment happened. Kanye took the mic before Swift even had a chance to speak. But, he was really happy for her.
Now, the Grammy’s moment may have been a joke as fellow audience members Kim Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend shared a giggle, but we couldn’t resist an immediate throwback moment.
Reportedly, Kanye’s actions were influenced by the “voices in his head, telling him to go.” Kanye, maybe you should have just shook it off? I mean, the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate.
But it doesn’t end there. Kanye and T-Swift are showing us that all the hate may be just a thing of the past. Ryan Seacrest asked Kanye about his plans to collaborate with T-Swift and he said, “Yeah, she wants to get in the studio and we’re definitely going to go in.”
Looks like T-Swift really does know how to shake it off. We could get down to that sick beat.
