The long awaited grand opening of Old Navy has arrived. Old Navy is now officially open as of Thursday, Sept. 20. It was apparent that the Old Navy staff was glowing with excitement and anticipation to unlock and open the doors to the public.
“We’re bringing a new vibrancy to the community, offering clothes that are trendy for students of all ages,” said Ian Meek, Store Operations Manager. “As an alumni of California State University, Stanislaus I know personally that students appreciate the combination of great quality and affordability.”
The store was well organized and the staff were friendly and readily available for assistance. Several top employees in the company shared their enthusiasm for the grand opening.
“I’m most excited about having a store placed in the Turlock community, with 5,000 fans on facebook, we hope to help everyone find something they love,” said Michelle Gibson, Store Manager of Turlock Old Navy.
She also spoke about Old Navy’s involvement in helping local non-profit organizations having already partnered with Turlock High School’s Agricultural Department.
“This is an exciting event to see take place,” said Bryan Kline, marketer for East Bay Old Navy. “Old Navy is for the college student, mom, really everyone in the family. We really strive to go for family, fun, and fashion. Please come in and say hi to the associates!”
They also offered students an additional discount on their purchases with student body card present at the time of purchase. The store hopes to be highly involved in the community especially teaming up with local non-profit organizations.
“This brand is involved in the community and will be a perfect fit in the Turlock area,” said Maia Spinelli, Field Operations Manager.
Some of the vendors and participants invited to be present and involved for the grand opening were Old Tyme Pastries, Heaven Snow, Save Mart, Cupcake Lady, Friends of Turlock Animal Rescue, Jamba Juice, Starbucks and CSU Stanislaus.
Old Navy hopes to bring fun, fashion and value to the whole family. From newborns through adults, the brand offers fashionable casual clothing and accessories for the entire family.
The store business hours are Monday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The store is located at 2831 Countryside Dr. If you have any questions, contact the Turlock store at 209-664-0634.
