Turlock can soon get ready for fall with a name-brand wardrobe without breaking the bank. Old Navy is expecting to have a grand opening weekend celebration starting Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 from 6–8 p.m.
Old Navy will be located in the Monte Vista Crossings shopping center on Countryside Road in Turlock, CA.
CSU Stanislaus students are especially anticipating the opening of this new store because it offers trendy clothes at reasonable prices.
“Old Navy is on top of keeping things fresh and exciting, keeping up with fashion trends,” Caitlin Brach, Turlock resident said. “Students will be able to keep up with the trends of the upcoming season without blowing their budgets.”
As more new businesses join Turlock, such as Old Navy, Ulta, and Olive Garden, students have more potential for jobs and more convenient access to name-brand products and affordable dining.
“It’s great to see the growth that is coming to Turlock during this difficult economic time,” Alisha Cruz (senior, Communication Studies) said. “I think it’s really important for students to shop local and support these businesses.”
Old Navy also offers denim, warm fall/winter coats and clothing for all ages, making it easy to take care of shopping for not only for yourself, but everyone else of on the shopping list.
Other neighboring businesses are just as excited to see Old Navy join the shopping center to help benefit college students.
“Its great to have affordable quality clothing for college students and locals, which helps drive business into the area,“ Rebecca Holden, Bath and Body Works Store Manager said. “Bath and Body Works staff are all very excited! People can get name-brand clothes, shoes, groceries, and luxury body care all in the same shopping center without having to leave the comfort of Turlock.“
While Old Navy serves over 14 million people around the world, it is an honor to have them now located in Turlock. If you would like to learn more about Old Navy you can “like” them on their “Old Navy Turlock” Facebook page.
