In honor of National Muffin Day, The marketing club will be selling muffins and Starbucks coffee in the quad. This event will be held Feb. 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The club plans to do a lot with the additional funds provided by the event, according to the clubs treasurer, Jesus Estrada (senior, Business).
“We like to make sure our members time is well deserved, so every semester we offer club activities, company tours, and different social opportunities. We believe that these benefits are equipped to shape our members into professional business people,” said Jesus Estrada.
MarketInc. is a fairly new club on campus and the upcoming events planned for the club is for their members to increase opportunity, personal branding, and networking to offer their members.
When asked about the reasoning for the event, the marketing club’s President, Devin Black (junior, Business) said, “It gives students a chance to get to know our fun and outgoing members, while learning what we are all about.”
Hashim Makki, (senior, Business) likes being a member of the marketing club not only for the fundraisers they put on, but also because of the connections being made. Makki said being in the marketing club “gives me an opportunity to create connections with many different people.
The marketing club will hold their event this Wednesday in the quad and will have opportunities for Stan State students to know more the club.
