Hello everyone! I am back with more book club goodness!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the April book discussion. It went well and was a good leaping off point for this new adventure.
This month’s read is We Wish You Luck by Caroline Zancan. An MFA program gone dark, there’s promises of “Love. Death. [And] Revenge” as a group of three students navigate their way through their program. Being someone who is considering pursuing an MFA herself, this story sparked my interest and did the same for the rest of our group as well!
This book is available for purchase on amazon as a hardback for $15.89 and Kindle for $13.99. You can find the book here, along with the full summary.
Libraries may also be a good option if you want to get your hands on a copy. Branches in the area are offering rental pick ups as well as digital e-book rentals. Two apps that serve the area are Cloud Library and Libby. It’s also available as an audiobook on audible.
If you’re interested, feel free to sign up via the google form. The semester is almost over and this would be a great way to take some time for yourself during this crazy time.
Our next discussion will be the last Thursday of this month, May 28, at 7 p.m. Hope to see some of you there!
