Stan State kicked off homecoming week from February 4th through the 6th with a coalition of fun activities, giveaways and the opportunity to get down on the dance floor.
A glimpse of unconstrained spirit was shown through Tuesday night’s Black Light Bingo. Warriors had the chance to show off their moves while playing a music-themed game of bingo.
Thursday’s homecoming festivities were kicked off by the influential wisdom from our very own Alumni Warriors. Warriors shared tips and provided insight to a life after college.
To cap off homecoming night, the Women Warriors basketball team pulled out a convincing win over Cal State Bernardino, while the Men’s team suffered a loss to the Coyotes.
Although homecoming has concluded, the fun will continue for the rest of February as there is a calendar full of interesting and diverse events!
Wednesday the 12th to Tuesday the 18th: Warriors Rock the Vote Campaign, which includes Civic Engagement from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. everyday in the Quad.
Monday the 17th: Black History Month Celebration, featuring the Heritage Dance Performance from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Quad.
Wednesday the 19th: Stay Connected With ASI Marketing from 10 a.m to 1 p.m at the ASI Marketing Suite in the Student Center.
Thursday the 20th: Stan State Cinema shows “Joker” at the Warrior Steps at 8 p.m.
Tuesday the 25th: Breakfast for Champs from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Quad.
Wednesday the 26th: ASI Serve & Sip from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Quad.
Saturday the 29th: Weekend Warrior goes to the Museum of Illusions and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum in San Francisco.
Whether you only have limited time between classes or if you want to get away, Stan State has managed to fit in plenty of the activities to take part in during the short month of February!
