According to the University Police Department’s (UPD) crime log, the police department responded to six incidents the week of Aug. 27 – Aug. 31.
Hit and Run
Two female students reported their vehicles were involved in hit and runs.
Assault and Battery
There was a report of battery between two female students in The Village.
Suspicious Person
UPD responded to a reported suspicious person. He was found reading bumper stickers on cars.
UPD also responded to a disturbance near the campus bookstore, where a student was vandalizing his own book.
The police department was contacted about a subject on campus who appeared to be homeless and shaving his face in the Health Center’s restroom.
Theft
A student reported her vehicle was broken into; the cigarette lighter adapter was stolen.
