Class of 2012: make room on those walls for diplomas. Half the semester is gone, and graduation is swiftly approaching. On March 20-22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., a variety of graduation necessities and accessories will be available at the bookstore’s annual Grad Faire.
According to Amy Lewis, California State University, Stanislaus bookstore manager, the Grad Faire is a one stop shop for graduates-to-be. By attending and fully utilizing what the Grad Faire offers, students will not need to worry about receiving items such as their announcements on time.
Whether graduates are looking for a basic cap and gown or a frame to put their hard-earned diplomas in, the bookstore has everything graduates need. Students can order their class rings, personalized graduation announcements, buy discounted frames and more.
On March 21-22, a photographer will be available for a free graduation pictures sitting. A cap and gown will be provided and proofs sent to students by e-mail. There is no obligation to purchase pictures if students are unsatisfied with their proofs.
The Grad Faire will also host a Graduate School information booth and an Alumni booth offering information on Alumni services and benefits. For students eager to give back, 2012 senior class gifts can be paid for at the bookstore as well. Gifts will go toward the Trans-California Pathways Project.
