Pride Week postponed until Spring 2015

The pride parade and drag show, which was scheduled to take place at the Quad and Event Center this past Thursday, have been postponed until the spring semester.
“I have recently come up with some amazing ideas that will extend the event to more than one day,” said Caitlin Moses, University Student Union Social Awareness Coordinator.
Moses is hoping to ally with Love Evolution and oSTEM for these events. The collaborated efforts will allow for students to become more educated on the LGBTQIA community.  Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy fun and educational activities.
The drag show and parade are free of charge and aim to educate attendees on the LGBTQIA community. These events have established welcoming and friendly environments amongst all students, faculty and staff.
The drag show consists of professional drag queens conducting a show and interacting with attendees. The pride parade is a showcase of distinct floats and featured music.
Stay tuned for more information regarding the annual Drag Show and Pride Parade during the spring semester.
