Are you ever in the mood for a sweet treat but just can’t decide exactly what you want? Maybe you want to try something new or need a suggestion from a friend.

Whether you’re looking for a cozy crepe spot, a blended coffee or a refreshing boba drink, students from Stan State shared a few go-to recommendations they enjoy around Turlock.
Gabriella Buenrostro (Junior, Creative Media) says her go-to spot for a sweet treat is The Creperie.
The Creperie is a local, family-owned establishment located at 1688 Countryside Dr. in Turlock. They specialize in both sweet and savory crepes made fresh in front of customers.

“I love their Nutella, strawberry, banana, and ice cream crepe which typically is around $8,” Buenrostro said. “Apart from the fact they are delicious, I like going here because it is a place where my siblings and I like to meet up since their atmosphere is very cozy and inviting.”
For Jahni Davis (Junior, Computer Science), Dutch Bros is the perfect stop when she wants something sweet to sip on and to spend time with friends.
“This place is special to me because the vibes from everyone there is very welcoming and chill, and it is a great place to hang out with friends,” Davis said.
She further shared her go-to drink at Dutch Bros.
“I usually go for some type of blended coffee in a medium size, which is around $7, but I like to add a tip every time I go, so the total would be around $12. At the moment, my go-to is a Picture-Perfect blended freeze extra sweet,” she said.
The closest Dutch Bros to the Stan State campus can be found across the street on the corner of Monte Vista Ave and Crowell Road. They offer a variety of drinks, including coffee, tea and energy drinks.

Another nearby option for students who prefer something cold and creamy is Quickly.
Quickly is an Asian fusion cafe that is known for its milk teas, sweet and savory snacks, and other speciality drinks.
Bee Mendoza (Junior, Creative Media) turns to Quickly whenever she is craving boba or a sweet snack.
“I always get a snow boba drink, but I also like getting their mochi waffles,” Mendoza says.
She added how convenient it is for her to have a nearby boba spot, with Quickly located at 2014 W. Monte Vista Ave., just down the road from Stan State.

“Boba has always been difficult for me to get, with stores only in further cities from my own,” she said. “With Quickly, I’m able to get a drink I really like more conveniently!”
Whether you’re craving crepes, coffee or boba, Turlock has plenty of student-approved spots that are worth checking out the next time a craving hits.
