Firing Teachers who Commit Acts of Sexual Abuse- This law would make it easier to fire teachers who sexually abuse children. The law was created, because an Los Angeles school district was having trouble firing a teacher who committed sexual abuse because of their termination policy. A teacher accused of sexual assault would have 30 days after firing to request an independent hearing, and the trail would start within 60 days. The laws goal is to speed up the process.
